Working with your own Senior Move Manager throughout your entire experience, we take care of the small details so you can focus on the big picture.

Floor Plan

Using the precise measurements of your new home, we create a Floor Plan with moveable magnetic furniture pieces that are built to scale. This collaborative process allows you and your family to visualize and design the arrangement of your prized possessions in your future home, down to the number of hangers that will fit.

Sorting and Inventory Management

We create clarity during chaos and help you simplify the decision making process by first inventorying your possessions. This allows you to then separate them into categories: going to your future home, to consignment or sell online, to donation, or to disposal. By bringing in trusted appraisers and local providers, including solutions such as digitizing your irreplaceable family photos onto a USB stick and into the Cloud to allow for family sharing, we reduce the amount of items being moved to your new home. This creates more living space in your future home and saves you money on the moving cost.

Arrange and Oversee Movers and Shipping

We recommend, schedule, and oversee local movers, handling all the small details such as elevator and moving company availability, crew size, loading dock, and adhering to the specific move-in policies while acting as your calm quarterback during the stressful Moving Day.

We work with economical shipping and freight companies to send your important items to family members, regardless of their location, so that you can keep cherished possessions within the family.

Pack, Unpack and Resettle

After taking photos and videos of the layout of your current home, we look to create a mirror image of that layout in your future home to increase your comfort and ease your transition to your new setting. Carefully and professionally packing your possessions, we clearly label boxes and direct the movers in order to eliminate any surprises. While unpacking your new home, we hang your artwork, organize your kitchen, make your bed they way you prefer, connect and optimize your TV, phone, and electronics, and remove all moving boxes so you can immediately enjoy your new home.

Sell Your Excess Possessions

With the goal of profitably reducing your unwanted possessions, we work with a local network of appraisers, auctioneers, antiques dealers, estate liquidators and online sellers to make you money through buyout, auction, consignment or Internet sales.

Coordinate Donations

We pack items for donation and coordinate the pickup or drop-off to local charities. Utilizing IRS rules, we provide you with a inventoried list of donations to make your tax filing easier, while also supporting local organizations and families in need such as Move For Hunger, Habitat for Humanity, Trenton Rescue Mission and HomeFront.

Paper Sorting, Shredding and Confidentiality

Our Senior Move Managers protect your privacy when helping you sort through papers, mail, medical bills, etc. We safely dispose of your confidential documents, provide a Certificate of Destruction, and strictly adhere to the Code of Ethics created by the National Association of Senior Move Managers.

Estate Sales and Clean-outs

In the event of death, divorce, or bankruptcy, we help you or your extended family to efficiently clearout and broom sweep the home, easing the estate settling process during your time of grief, and helping to facilitate the transfer of the home to the new owner.
